Why Beyond the Waves

Beyond the Waves Coaching was created from lived experience. Navigating change, overwhelm, responsibility, and the quiet question of “how do I keep going without losing myself?”

This is a space for people who want to understand who they are beneath the noise, how their mind works, how their energy moves, and what helps them feel more connected to themselves and to others.

Some come with an ADHD diagnosis, some without. What matters here is not a label, but curiosity, self-understanding, and learning to work with your brain rather than against it.

What sets my work apart is the intersection it comes from. I was trained as a PhD-level engineer and worked as a university lecturer, with years spent in highly structured environments focused on performance, precision, and outcomes. I’ve also worked closely with people in education, leadership, and sales where pressure, motivation, and human complexity are always present.

Alongside this professional path is a personal one: navigating my own unhelpful coping mechanisms, and parenting a child with ADHD. These experiences shape how I listen and how I support, with empathy, clarity, and a deep respect for where each person is.

I work with adults, parents, and university-aged young people navigating ADHD, burnout, identity questions, or seasons of transition. My role is not to fix or push, but to walk alongside you. Together, we slow things down, notice patterns, and uncover strengths that are already there.

You don’t have to do this alone.
